We haven’t posted a video in almost 2 months now! In this brief life update we explain what we’ve been up to in that time and why we haven’t been able to post as often as we would have liked to.
The past few months have certainly been full of ‘firsts’ for us – but now that life seems to be settling down, we hope to continue to upload new videos every Sunday.
What Have We Been Up To?
So what exactly have we been up to? Chelsea has taken UK driving lessons and passed her driving tests (a US licence is only valid for 1 year in the UK), as well as finding a job in the dog behaviour industry. Apple, our Miniature Dachshund, had spinal surgery – she is now taking physiotherapy to recover. And we welcomed two new birds into our home too!
Apple’s surgery was almost 4 weeks ago now and she is now well on the road to recovery. But it has not been an easy one. We are very happy to say though that the prognosis is now looking much more positive.

Now that life seems to be settling down a little – we are planning to get back on track, releasing a new video every Sunday. Next week, we’ll start with the first of a 2-part series on Chelsea’s experience learning to drive in the UK as an existing foreign licence holder.
After that, we hope to publish more in our #AskExpatWives and #AskBritishHusband series, along with a few videos on some of our favourite things to do in the UK – especially if you’re only planning a short visit.
Once again, we apologise for not being very active over the past few months, but we look forward to sharing more with you in the future.
